What is AGLUCA?

Origin of name

Background of factory relocation and migration to Uenohara City, Yamanashi Prefecture

1. Distance that allows you to visit the client company (Tokyo) by train.

2.A place with clean air and lots of nature (suitable for raising children).

3. Within walking distance from the station, with plenty of parking.

4.A place where the rent is as low as possible.

I searched from this perspective and found a place called Shiotsu in Yamanashi. About 80 minutes by train to Tokyo, 8 minutes walk from Shihotsu Station. The train journey was a bit long, but other than that, we found a used property (built in 1977) with exposed concrete in a perfect location.

If the interior is renovated while taking advantage of the building's original sturdiness and exterior, it is likely that a garment factory will be created that is comfortable and easy to work in. Avoid producing waste as much as possible. It also matches our philosophy.

Against this background, we will relocate our sewing factory from Hyogo to Shihotsu in June 2021.

I moved from Tokyo to Shihotsu.
